APSC Eligibility Criteria
Candidates those who are currently working as assistant audit officers under director of audit having 03 years of experience as on 01.01.2018 are only eligible to apply.
Selected candidates as Audit officer will get pay of Rs. 22,000-87,000/- and GP of Rs.11500/-

Candidates will be recruited through Assam Local Fund Audit Service (Promotion) Examination basis.

APSC Examination Pattern
Candidates will have written exam on five subjects containing 8 papers, for a total marks of 800 marks. Duration of each paper is 3 hours. Subject wise details are given below.

Rules and Regulations for the audit and inspection of accounts under the department

Assam Panchayat Act, 1972 and the rules framed there under together with subsequent amendment made there to, assam municipal act and the rules framed there under together with subsidiary rules.
